THE STONE ISLAND IN BELGRADE – PROJECT OF MUSEUM/GALLERY

Awarded work for the competition „Water spaces 4 people” during 2nd International Scientific Conference Sensitive Approach 2Water in Urban Planning, Landscape Design and Architecture organized in Poznan, 2011.

Architectural project of objects belonging to the stone island. The main objective of the project is the concept of the museum – gallery, based on new trend in museum design, started in 80s of XX century.

The objects are situated on the longitudinal axis of the island. The design was inspired by the meandering river. Simple, clear and original forms fit to the shape of the stone island. Designed buildings blend with the surrounding landscape river.
