THE TRANSFORMATION OF SPORT AND RECREATION AREA IN SZAMOTULY – NEW PIASZCZYCHY 

The aim of this project is transformation of the existing sport and recreation area in Szamotuly city and creating a new leisure offer. The transformed area is divided into 2 zones: recreation-cultural zone with catering facilities and sport zone (swimming pool complex and tennis courts). The main entrance into Piaszczychy is emphasized by the wooden gates.

The central part of the project is designed as an integrated structure of the pavilion objects with the main square. Temporary roof design is planed over the existing tennis courts. Retractable roof makes possible to use the courts in different weather conditions.
